As I am reflecting on the journey of 2024 with immense gratitude; this past year has been a teacher, offering lessons that have shaped and strengthened me in ways I never imagined. Every challenge faced, every triumph celebrated, and every quiet moment of growth has prepared me for the opportunities that
lie ahead.

2024 has taught me resilience, the ability to rise above obstacles and emerge stronger. Through faith and God’s grace, I have overcome countless challenges, each shaping me into a stronger and more steadfast individual.  It reminded me of my strength and adaptability, even under pressure.  It has shown me the value of patience, the importance of faith, and the beauty of cherishing the small joys in life. For all these lessons, I am truly grateful.

As I turn the page to 2025, my heart is filled with hope and anticipation. I embrace this new chapter with open arms, trusting that it will bring fresh opportunities to grow, to love, and to thrive. I welcome the blessings that are yet to unfold, blessings of health, success, and happiness. I am ready to nurture new relationships, connections that God Himself will guide into my life, filled with purpose and love.

This year, I am setting my intentions with clarity and purpose. I choose to walk in gratitude for the past and faith for the future. I trust that every step I take will be guided, every door that opens will lead to growth, and every relationship will be a testament to God’s divine plan for my life.

I told God that He is mine and I am His

He may use me for his glory as he sees fit

The First and Last, Creator of the World and everything within it

As God is always listening, long before I even knew it, He had already done so!

The closer I am to Him the more He allows my spirit to be made aware of how and where

I must say, the human in me took a little while to realize many happenings

I have acknowledged that in the path of being a willing servant of God

There will be many trials, challenges, temptations, Judas, and goliaths to face

But God has reminded me, like David He has been preparing me way before my parents met,

For He knew me beforehand.

Is It Possible?

Is it possible to go back or revisit the age of innocence where I believed the illusion of love?  

I mean the notion of believing that love existed and us human beings capable of loving another deeply and authentically. 

The time when I used to sing along with Frédéric François,  Michel Sardou, Mireille Mathieu …..etc (French classical singers), and truly believed in the lyrics of their songs and couldn’t wait to experience such immense feelings; the desire of being loved…..

As I reflect on my teenage time period…….. I really miss the feeling of not knowing or the awareness of how cruel people can be towards one another; especially a man!  

In a perfect world, I would be loved, cherished, appreciated, cared for, and obtained/shared the affections of a bona fide lover……..hmmm what an illusion?

Despite what our elementary teachers told us, a year isn't really 365 days. Our planet actually takes 365 1/4 days to revolve around the sun. These six additional hours each year add up to an extra 24 hours over four years, at which point we add a day to our calendar in order to keep us in sync with the sun. Without leap day, annual events would slowly shift seasons—eventually, we'd be celebrating Christmas in July.

In reality I was longing for your love, attention, compassion, understanding, easiness….

Why do a number of men feel intimidated by intelligent and independent women?

Why do a number of men feel intimidated by intelligent and independent women?

Hmmm……. I am sitting here thinking why do some men are intimidated by an intelligent and independent woman; is it a control issue?  Or is it an ego thing?

I am thinking out loud.........

Thinking Out Loud!

I am trying to put the following sentence “There is a little bit of loser in all of us” into prospective to better understand and to grasp the concept presented.  

What if that’s true?  I am feeling somewhat indifferent about this notion. The truth is some of us really strive to exhale in all that we do, but somehow may still feel like a loser at times.  Why is that?  Is it because in many cases whatever we do include someone else who may not as determined, motivated, and/ or ready to take on the task?

Am I playing the blame game here? Loll…..

So, hypothetically speaking if indeed everything we do involves someone else’s contribution, would it be correct or fair to conclude then “Maybe the truth is there's a little bit of a loser in all of us”?

I am not asking for everything in my life to be perfect, I just want some things to be! It’s very frustrating when you know for sure you do everything by the book and nothing happens.  For instance, acquiring that higher education to better your finances; be respectful and honest in your relationship, treat the other person as you would like to be treated.  Don’t be selfish, care about and for others, help others in need, and share with the less fortunate…blah blah blah.......

And somehow, after doing all that you still get the opposite of all.  Do you understand how frustrating and daunting the feeling of betrayal by life and nature is?  With that said, is there really a little beat of loser in me? Or is it loser by default? Was I already set to fail before birth? Isn’t life really tormenting? What do you think?

Free education for third world countries, because by being educated they can alleviate their economic, social, and many of their adversities.

I choose these people because in a positive way I envy their lives, achievements, lifestyle; essentially unique in their own ways. I have high regards for their hard work and how they go about constructing something spectacular in their lifetime.  I truly admire them all.
